If location is an issue, this is the perfect place to play. In the wintertime… you are in the middle of the North Shore with easy access to the ski resorts. You are 4 miles to the entrance of Northstar which offers a great all-around skiing mountain, along with a new village with ice skating rink, shops and restaurants. Alpine Meadows and Squaw Valley are minutes away and there is a short cut which eliminates dealing with traffic in Tahoe City. Diamond Peak and Mt Rose are 20 min away and offers less expensive skiing with specials with family pricing.You won’t need to ski a run twice. Cross country skiing and snowshoeing are literally out the back door…and for those adventure enthusiasts, there is a multitude of snowmobiling rentals as close at 2 miles from the house.

In the summertime, the open terrain becomes some of the best hiking and biking trails on the North Shore. You can access the trails at the home and go for miles. All the roads in the neighborhood dead end at trail heads. North National Park is walking distance to the house and offers Frisbee golf, ball fields, snowmobile rentals and much more. The Lake at Kings Beach is 2.5 miles away and has boat and kayak rentals. Shopping and entertainment are here with casinos 3 miles away that will satisfy your thirst for nightlife. Crystal Bay Club is known for its music venues, and Cal Neva for thier spa services. There is an abundance of restaurants and shops up and down Kings Beach that will cater to your daytime or evening dining fancies.

This three-story, large, mountain home has five bedrooms, three and one-half baths, Pool Table, oversized Hot Tub, ,fireplace, 6HDTVs on satellite, DVD players, stereo, and two sunny decks, one of which sits on a meadow. The deck and meadow becomes an extension to the house on sunny days with large pine trees and open areas to set a chair or put up a volleyball net and play in the forest. The open floor plan inside works great for large families and groups of friends. High wood beamed ceilings, red plaid carpet and true mountain decor throughout, you’ll feel like you’re in a mountain lodge. There is plenty of room to spread out and relax with a good book.

As you walk in the front door, you are greeted by the Great Room. Here you’ll find the living, dining room, kitchen, fireplace, 1/2 bath and entertainment center. Stone lines the entire wall where the wood burning fireplace is and will instantly remind you of Tahoe. Facing the fireplace is an overstuffed sectional surrounded by throw pillows with extra chairs and ottomans scattered around the couch. Next to the sofa is a pool table and entertainment center with HD Smart TV, stereo, DVD player books, games .. 2 decks have sliders leading out to them. The front deck has comfortable seating and looks out to a tree lined mountain. The back deck has the hot tub, BBQ, seating and open meadow with an abundance of wildlife. From anywhere in the Great Room you can watch TV, listen to music, enjoy the fireplace, look out to the views, and socialize with your family or friends.

There is a 1/2 bath next to the dining room. Down a long hall is laundry room are two bedrooms. One has a king bed with twin bed and TV. Next to this is a room with queen bed with TV. All the bedding is ‘Hotel Style’ with 300 count sheets, duvet, bed cover, 4 pillows and extra throw. Bathrobes are provided in most bedrooms for your use. Both have large windows with views of a tree-covered mountain and spectacular sunrises. Off these bedrooms is a large bathroom with two sinks and separate shower and tub. These rooms are far enough away from the Great room, it is quiet here for kids or adults who want to relax or nap in peace.

Up the stairs is the Master bedroom with King bed twin bed, TV, and bathroom. Adjacent to the master room is a bedroom with a Queen bed, TV,walk-in closet, and twin bed that is adjacent to another full bathroom. Across the hall is another room with King bed,TV, and twin. All the bedrooms are large enough to accommodate the extra beds without feeling cramped, and have views of the meadow and trees.

The house is located in a quiet pocket of homes surrounded by tall pine trees and hiking trails. Many tenants come here with a list of activities, and choose to stay at the house and enjoy the trails and solitude the house offers. Whether you are coming to Tahoe to spectate or participate, this is the perfect place to come home to. With care and attention paid to details, you will find this house unique, both in its presentation and location making this a true Tahoe home. Each room is unique and will give the charm and comfort you’d expect from a mountain home. The furnishings compliment the ‘Pine Lodge’ decor. The open areas and high ceiling ,allow you to socialize with family or friends, without feeling closed in.

Our 2nd Home
This is absolutely a great place to take friends and family for a vacation in the Lake Tahoe area. My family and I have been staying at this property for the last three years in a row and can’t wait to get back next year. There is ample room for the kids to run around and play while allowing for the adults to kick back and relax. From the pool table, to the big screen television, to the hot tub there is plenty for everyone to enjoy. The property manager is outstanding and is there day or night with answers to any questions or problems you may arise. The property is located only a few miles from Northstar, Alpine Meadows and Squaw Valley. We can easily be at the mountain in under 15 minutes ready for a great day of family fun. I would recommend this property to anyone!

Great Vacation Home
It have been years since my family visited Lake Tahoe, and this time we wanted to try renting a home instead of hotel. We saw the pics and felt the size would accommodate us. When we showed up at the home, we were pleasantly surprised to find such a great home. The bedrooms were large with comfortable beds, the kitchen had all we needed to cook with, and the open living area was great! We all could be in site of each other, with doing different things. Some were in the big hot tub, ladies were cooking in the kitchen, kids were coloring at the dining room table, men were watching football and playing pool. It was real quality time with family.

All around the home is hiking trails which we enjoyed our morning walks on. It was so quiet, it felt like we were miles from everything, yet we were just a couple of miles from Lake, all the shops and restaurants and state park at Kings Beach. We also were able to walk to North National Park for frisbee golf. We heard that Northstar had an outdoor roller skating rink, so we went there 1 day which was close to the home. There was so much to do, we ran out of time, and plan on coming back for skiing next year. Our time at the house couldn’t have been better. Lots of amenities, close to everything, and mountain charm with wonderful fireplace.
