This 6 bedroom, 3 bath Mountain home, sits on a beautiful meadow surrounded by pine trees. The back door exists out to the hiking trails that could start a great day of exploring in winter and summer.

Location, location, location. In the summertime, the open terrain becomes some of the best hiking and biking trails on the North Shore. You can access the trails at the home and go for miles. All the roads in the neighborhood dead end at trail heads. North National Park is walking distance to the house and offers Frisbee golf, ball fields, snowmobile rentals and much more. The Lake at Kings Beach is 2.5 miles away and has boat and kayak rentals. White, sandy beaches will remind you of being in Hawaii. Shopping and entertainment are here with casinos 3 miles away that will satisfy your thirst for nightlife. Crystal Bay Club is known for their music venues, and Cal Neva for their spa services. There is an abundance of restaurants and shops scattered up and down Kings Beach that will cater to your daytime or evening dining fancies.

Morgan Haus DeckIn the wintertime… you are in the middle of the North Shore with easy access to the ski resorts. You are 4 miles to the entrance of Northstar which offers a great all-around skiing mountain, along with a new village with ice skating rink, shops and restaurants. Alpine Meadows and Squaw Valley are minutes away and there is a short cut which eliminates dealing with traffic in Tahoe City. Diamond Peak and Mt Rose are 20 min away and offers less expensive skiing with specials and family pricing. Cross country skiing and snow shoeing are literally out the back door…and for those adventure enthusiasts, there is a multitude of snowmobiling rentals as close at 2 miles from the house.

This house has the space for a large family gathering, or group of friends. As you walk in the front door, you are greeted with a massive river rock fireplace, high A frame ceilings, pool table, windows looking out to the meadow, and open floor plan. The fireplace is wood and the vocal point of the room and everything faces it. Knotty pine paneling and stain glass accents surrounds the ‘Great Room,’ giving the space a true mountain feeling and smell. A large sectional and scattered ottomans faces the fireplace and entertainment center with HD SmartTV, stereo, and DVD player. A slider opens out to the top wrap-around deck with patio furniture and barbecue. Its great to sit out here and breath in the trees. From here you look over the beautiful meadow with tall pine trees and seasonal creek. The smell of the pines is mesmerizing. Below the upper deck, is a separate deck for the hot tub. Because the deck is level to the meadow, tenants have been known to jump out of the tub, make snow angles, then jump back in. The house is also on a gentle slope for sledding and snow play. This is the place on either deck to relax and enjoy the wildlife, and sounds of a forest.

Nicknamed the ‘TreeHaus,’ your view from all windows is of the towering pine trees and seasonal creek. A path in the meadow behind the house leads to North National Park which has ball fields, a Frisbee golf course, picnic areas, and hiking and biking trails. In the wintertime, bring your cross country ski’s or snow shoes. The trails from the house are well used in both the summer and winter months.

This is a true Mountain Lodge with lots of nooks and cranny’s to allow your family or friends to spread out comfortably. It is warm, inviting, and set up as a vacation rental.

The open living area has a pool table and a large dining room table, and kitchen. A well appointed kitchen with wrap-around counters, and breakfast bar that seats 5, allows for all to watch the chef cook. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the amenities you’ll need for a weeks stay. The pool table is in the middle of the room and will allow you to play pool, while watching TV, looking at the fireplace, talking with the chef, or just listening to music.
wrapp6Down the hall is a large laundry room, and bathroom that also connects to the large Master Bedroom. The Master Bedroom has a walk in closet, sliding glass door that exist’s to the deck, TV, and is large enough to have another twin bed without feeling confined All the beds and bedding in the house is European style with extra pillows, 300 count sheets, bed throw and duvets. In the hallway are 2 sets of stairs. One leads to queen bedroom with its own bathroom, TV, and door exiting out to the meadow and hot tub. The hiking trails are within feet of the back door and the availability just to walk out into the trees, is special.

Up the stairs has 4 more bedrooms. First bedroom is an enclosed private loft with queen bed, and child’s bed. This is next to a full bathroom. Down the hall is a spacious King bedroom,TV, with extra twin bed and lots of windows looking out to the meadow. There is extra floor space for the little ones here. Next to that room is a bunk room with TV, full size bottom and single top that adjoins to another large enclosed private loft bedroom with queen bed, TV,and 2 twins. The loft bedrooms are A frame and all have doors making them private bedrooms.

Want to bring your boat and need parking? No problem. There is a garage for your ‘stuff’ and lots of parking in the summertime both in the driveway and on the road.

Located on a cul de sac, you’ll see more people walking their dogs in the street, than cars passing by. The neighborhood is a quiet pocket of homes surrounded by forest land. All the roads dead end at trails heads, yet its 2 miles from all the activities in Kings Beach.

Quiet, peaceful, comfortable, and special is the tone of this home. The decor is mountain lodge, which compliments the Tahoe feeling, and amenities and location should amplify your vacation stay. The furnishings compliment the ‘Pine Lodge’ decor. The open areas and high ceiling ,allow you to socialize with family or friends, without feeling closed in.

The house has all the amenities of home and more. Coffee service is provided for your first morning here, and bathrobes are in most bedrooms for your use. The furnishings are user friendly with plenty of seating for your family and friends. The location and amenities of this home makes this a great vacation home year-round.

This is just 1 of 6 homes I own in Lake Tahoe. The others are 5 and 6 bedrooms also and have the same amenities and location. 5 are walking distance to each other for those who need 2 homes.

I love speaking with my guests and I’m available 24/7 for questions and to help you decide if this is the right fit for your group.

True Mountain Feel with all the comforts
Sandy is easy to deal with in every way. This mountain home is attractive and very tidy upon our arrival. Beds are all very comfortable and the many bathrooms was a real convenience. Diamond Peak and Northstar at Tahoe are almost in the back yard. Alpine Meadows and Squaw Valley are easy drives. The Jewel of the Sierra, Lake Tahoe is just down the street from this home! This house handled 15 of us comfortably. Kitchen is well-equipped for our large group. The fireplace was the biggest hit as all our socializing was centered here. The pool table and jacuzzi was of course a huge hit with kids! We will certainly return!
